Asbestos Garage Roof?
Is it going to kill my children?

This ridiculous statement is from a telephone call recently.  A worried mother told me she had only just realised her Garage Roofing Sheets were so called “Asbestos Sheets!”  

Unfortunately it is a sign of our times that she belived much of the hype and hysteria in our media concerning the “A” word.  

She was under the impreassion that her children only had to see an Asbestos Garage Roof and they would contract a very deadly disease the following week?

I reassured her that the greatest danger the garage roofing sheets posed for her children was the risk of falling through if they climbed onto the asbestos garage roof.
